Each person works through a role with its own permissions. A teacher sees their own classes and a parent sees only their own children. The school can adjust what each role may do.
Important changes are recorded with who made them and when, and the school can review them. Opening a parent-teacher chat to read it is recorded too.
Details such as Aadhaar numbers and student health information are stored encrypted, and shown masked where the full value is not needed.
Every uploaded file goes through a virus check before anyone can open it. A file that fails the check is quarantined.
Passwords must meet a minimum length and are checked against a list of known breached passwords. Repeated sign-in attempts are limited.
Everyone can see where they are signed in, sign out other devices and review their recent sign-in activity.
Parents can see what they have agreed to, withdraw optional consent, download a copy of their data and ask the school to correct or delete it.
School administrators can export the school's data from Settings.
